A GENTLE REMINDER
So many things have been coming up lately and I feel overwhelmed to make posts these days. However, I thought I do a gentle reminder on something I once wrote about.
The world is fast losing it and as much as people cry out, things seem to go worse in the social world. People use their freedom and rights as excuse to promote wrong things every day and this has led us to where we are today. This is exactly what the Spirit of God warns against in Galatians 5:1. In the midst of all these, it is sometimes hard to keep your head straight up as the Bible advised in Proverbs 4:25. This is to remind you that everything happening around you is still not enough reason to compromise who you are.
You are a peculiar person and a royalty (1 Peter 2:9). There are certain behaviors that do not befit a royalty. Those are the conducts you see around you today. It does not matter how much the pressure is around you, it cannot change who you are if you do not let it. Remember, ships do not sink because of the water around them. They sink when the water comes inside of them. This does not apply to individuals alone. It also applies to the Church.
Christianity seems to be getting overwhelmed with the many wrong things in the world. We seem to forget our identity and leaders seem to look away as members bring worldliness into the Lord’s Church. Some leaders are even the devil’s advocates in disguise leading the members astray. Let us all be vigilant, whatever be our positions. If you are a good leader, please do not close your eyes to the evil around you. Be watchful, else your congregation would be overwhelmed with evil by the time you open your eyes. If you are a member, do not blindly follow a leader. Be sure that what they permit or encourage is acceptable before God. God is the supreme authority, not your Church leader.
Church Aside
As an individual, this is a gentle reminder for you to carry yourself with integrity and dignity as a royalty that you truly are. You may like to see simple things that can ship your sink in this post. I wrote it in two parts: part 1 and part 2. Enjoy your read!
